Sesame Street Birthday Party!!!

We recently celebrated my son's 2nd birthday in Dallas and I went a little crazy planning it!  I wanted it to be as colorful as possible!  Take a look at some of the pictures!

With some inspiration off of pinterest, we made cookie, elmo, big bird and oscar fruit and veggie platters.  We used ranch dressing for the eyes on the veggie platter and vanilla yogurt for the fruit platter eyes.

There were alot of kids at the party and since we rented a community house to host it, we had re-usable cups with lids for the cups with the birthday boy's name attached to it!  We also had goldfish in honor of Elmo's goldfish Dorothy in tiny shot glasses as well as bananas on lollipop sticks.  We also personalized the water bottles at his party with waterproof labels with his name on them.  And how about some Big Bird Punch!!!

Now on to the best part!! Dessert and the candy buffet!  I went a little crazy!   The cake made by Buttercream Bliss, cake pops made by me, three kinds of cookies (the NY times chocolate chip cookie, sugar cookies in the shape of K and 2, and two types of gluten free cookies (almond butter chocolate and oatmeal caramel) and lots and lots of candy!  Oooo, and chocolate covered pretzel crayons with my son's name on them that I made.  And last but not least, Cookie Monster Chocolate chip cookie milkshake shooters!!!

Last but not least, goody pails for the kids.  I had personalized pails made for my son so I made mini versions for all the kids filled with Sesame Street goodies from etsy, as well as personalized bubbles, and other goodies.
